I remember as a kid my brother, sister and I throwing different ingredients into the blender, trying to make new and exciting concoctions. Some came out great, usually because it had ice cream in it, and some came out pretty bad. There may have been a peanut butter and pickle smoothie in there somewhere. Overall the experiment part is what I remember. We all desired to create new flavors and I am so thankful for those memories. Here is something that I am sure there is already a recipe out there for. I went for a run last night and need some protein right after. I threw together a few ingredients I had, turned on the blender and BAM, my new favorite smoothie was created. I even had one for breakfast. Not only is this smoothie tasty, it’s loaded with the good stuff. Enjoy!
Banana & Peanut Butter Smoothie
1 ripe banana
1 large spoonful of peanut butter
4 ice cubes
1/2-3/4 cup of vanilla coconut milk
Add all ingredients to the blender. Blend or pulse until smooth.
