Last New Year I decided to invest in a juicer. The idea of increasing my micro-nutrient levels via fresh juices (plus finding more ways to eat my greens) had me convinced this gadget was going to be my new best friend. I even tried a juicing fast, which surprise, surprise only lasted a few days. Well after a few weeks my new best friend founds it’s way to the back shelf. It turns out you need A LOT of fruits and veggies to make juice constantly, plus the cleaning is kind of a pain and sometimes I’m just lazy when it comes to juice. We ended up getting a Vitamix shortly after and find that we enjoy using that more on a regular basis for smoothies. Anyway, I am finally dusting off my machine and giving it another go. I am determined to eat more vegetables and pregnancy has had me craving bagels and clam chowder. This is an easy peasy recipe.
